During this crafternoon, participants will learn the art of soap felting and create two felted soap bars. Soap felting combines soft wool with everyday soap to create colourful, textured bars that are both practical and beautiful.
In this 2.5 hour workshop, participants will learn both wet felting and needle felting techniques.
Ivory soap will be provided; however, if you have allergies or sensitivities, you are welcome to bring your own two bars of soap.
As we will be working with water, sleeves may get slightly wet.
Suitable for all skill levels, including beginners.
Ages 15 and up (or younger with adult supervision).
All materials are provided.
The instructor, Agnes Liut of Roving Workshop, is an experienced arts educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. She is passionate about the transformative power of creativity and is dedicated to helping others explore and develop their artistic skills.
