Collection: Manos del Uruguay

Manos del Uruguay was founded in 1968 by a group of women who were committed to preserving traditional handcraft techniques and supporting rural communities in Uruguay. Manos del Uruguay yarns are hand-dyed and hand-spun using natural fibres, such as wool, alpaca, and silk. They're nown for producing high-quality, hand-crafted yarns in a wide range of colors and textures.

Manos del Uruguay is committed to sustainability and fair labor practices, and all of their yarns are produced using environmentally-friendly methods. They work with small-scale farmers and artisans in rural areas of Uruguay to produce their yarns, and are a member of the World Fair Trade Organization.
