Upcoming Shipments Notice:
Orders placed starting Sunday, January 25th at 10 PM through Monday, February 9th (end of day) will be held, and will begin shipping in the order they were placed starting on Tuesday, February 10th, 2026.
No shipments will be going out during this brief period, so if you need something urgently, please place your order prior to Sunday the 25th at 10 PM.
Feel free to place your orders for pickup at any time during those dates, as the shop will remain open (apart from Tuesdays, January 27th, and February 3rd, 2026 - details).

How Long Does It Take?
We work diligently to dispatch orders as quickly and as accurately as possible. Please allow us up to 4 business days (our business days are Tuesday-Saturday) to prep and get your order to our shippers, and/or to follow up with you should there be something preventing us from fulfilling your order within that timeframe. From time to time, especially after long weekends/holidays, or during sale periods, we may need an extra 4-5 business days to catch up on orders.
From there, it really depends on where you're shopping from. Once your order has been fulfilled, if you're within the GTA or the Quebec-Windsor corridor, shipping times (again, from the date of fulfillment, not the date the order was placed) *can* be as fast as 1 day (if you've paid for express shipping using one our partner couriers: UPS, Fedex, Purolator, Canpar; as long as the date of shipment is not Friday; note this delivery time is an estimate and is not guaranteed; unforeseen delays can, and do, occur). Our free shipping level, Economy (CA & US), and shipments out to the east and west areas of Canada, can take up to 14 business days from the date of fulfillment. Shipments to U.S.A. can take anywhere from 8-28 business days from the date of fulfillment, again depending on shipping level, and your location. Should you need your order faster than this, be sure to upgrade your shipping level to one of our partner couriers (mentioned above), or Canada Post Xpresspost.
Where We Ship From, and To
We ship from Ontario, Canada, and always endeavour to use the most economical, and most environmentally-friendly, approach. We re-use shipping boxes and packs whenever we can in an attempt to keep packaging out of the landfill for at least one more run, and to save you, our valued customer, money. When we've run out of shipping boxes to reuse, we use packaging made from recycled materials whenever possible. And we hope you will consider reusing the packaging we've sent your products to you in, if it has any life left in it.
Fulfilled orders will be dropped off at our courier within 3 business days. Should there be any delays in shipping, we will inform you as soon as possible. See below for estimated delivery timeframes, based on your location.
FREE, Local Pickup
- If you live in the area near Whitby, Ontario, you are welcome to pick up your order of any amount, for free. Select FREE, local pickup from the shipping options.
Shipping Knitting, Sewing & Tatting Needles
We are able to provide lettermail prices on shipping orders that consist of only the smaller range of knitting needles, sewing needles or tatting needles, or lightweight paper products such as tatting pattern booklets, to Canada, the U.S.A. and Internationally. Please note, orders shipped through these methods will not have a tracking number associated with them, and we will not guarantee delivery as a result. If you require tracking or guaranteed delivery, then please choose any other option on the checkout page. Also note, if you have anything in your cart that cannot be shipped via regular lettermail, this option will not be available during the checkout process.
Other Packages & International Orders:
Orders that do not fit into the above specifications for Canada, as well as international orders, may select appropriate shipping options from Canada Post and couriers, as will be provided at the shopping cart. Alternatively, please contact us for a shipping quote for any specific items you may be interested - we are able to provide better rates than the default Canada Post and Fedex ones, we just need to know where you are! :)
Returns
We accept returns on unopened, unused items only. We do not accept returns on knitting needles or crochet hooks, or knitting needle or crochet hook sets. Unless due to our own error, returns are shipped to us at the customer's expense. We will cover replacement item shipping unless the original order was under our free shipping threshold. We are unable to cover the costs of international shipping for replacement items. We accept returns up to 30 days from the date of the transaction, or the receipt of the product if tracking information is purchased for your shipment.
