Orchids is the fourth in a series of stylized florals, set in the round. It showcases the popular phalaenopsis orchid and follows Water Lilies, AS-192, Morning Glories, AS-195, and Poppies, AS-205, in the series. The designs illustrate several of the hallmarks of art nouveau – graceful lines, balanced composition, and simple elegance.
