Join us on October 25th for MALABRIGO DAY!

Here we gooooo - this is how we're celebrating the inaugural, global Malabrigo Day, here at Artisanthropy Fibre Arts!

Join us in-shop on Saturday, October 25th for:

• Explore all the yarns from Malabrigo, including many new (to us, and a brand new one), plus new shades in old favourites. Maybe you'll find one you've never noticed before.
• FREE all-day, in-person drop-in social, from 11 AM to 3:30 PM
• YARN TASTING! We have a variety of samples of Malabrigo yarns which you can give a try on needles or hooks. Be kind/gentle - we have to share these throughout the day with all guests.
• Any purchase of Malabrigo Yarns will be entered into our prize draws. We will have multiple Malabrigo-themed prizes to give away - stay tuned for more details, as we are just putting these together, but the prizes include skeins of Malabrigo Yarns, and fun, special, limited-edition Malabrigo swag not normally available! Names will be drawn on Sunday, and contacted once drawn.
• Receive either a free printed pattern, or a QR code/coupon code for a pattern, to go with your Malabrigo yarn purchase. Free patterns / codes are available for the following Malabrigo Yarns:
  • Dos Tierras
  • Mecha
  • Silky Merino
  • Rios
  • Arroyo
  • Sock (crochet)
    
  • Rasta
  • Mechita
• And, probably what you've all been waiting for: DISCOUNTS! These will be available in-shop only on Saturday, October 25th:
  • Get 10% off your purchase of a full bag of a single colour of Malabrigo yarn (we don't have full bags of all colours; see below re: preorders)
    • Some yarns come 5 to a bag, others come 10 to a bag, so it will depend on what you're interested in
  • For all other purchases/combos, get 5% off your Malabrigo Yarns purchase.
  • These discounts apply to pre-orders as well. Note, pre-orders may take up to 3-4 weeks to receive due to high volume going through Malabrigo's warehouse at this time. We are unable to promise the colour you have ordered will be available, but will do our best to get it in for you. It would be best if you gave us 2-3 alternative options if you don't want to wait for a restock.
• Since we're not able to offer the above discounts online, we ARE offering 2x the points on your Malabrigo Yarn ONLINE purchases on Saturday, October 25th, only. Note: due to the nature of this event, the items you purchase online may sell out in-shop before we're able to pull and ship them to you. In these cases, we will order them anew from Malabrigo and will ship when they arrive. Please understand there may be a delay in the fulfillment of your order.
