Happy Birthday to Us! 

6 years ago, I launched Artisanthropy.ca on Canada Day, in celebration of all things Canadian. My goal was to widen access to hard-to-find needlecraft supplies online within Canada, starting with tatting supplies, which at the time, were next to impossible to find accessibly from Canadian online retailers. 

Things changed since then, of course. We picked up yarn and started selling in-person, first at events, then at our bricks & mortar. We took over Kniterary & The Hedgehog Stitchery in Whitby. The pandemic hit... and well, it's been quite a ride!

Every day, I'm super grateful to be working on this business, supporting our local community through our amazing team members, as well as providing a community space for creative fibre artists to come learn, work on their projects and find support and inspiration on their fibre journeys.

July marks our Semi Annual Clearance Sale, and we have a new addition this year. Sadly prices, as I'm sure you are aware, are going up everywhere and we have held off as long as we can.
