Note: this is NOT a BEGINNER knitting class. You MUST know how to cast on, cast off, knit and purl.
This class will cover knit, purl, working in the round, and cable stitches. Using 250g of a super bulky weight yarn, and under the tutelage of Tara B., you will knit up both a hat and a headband with cables, in the round. The hat is topped with a cute pom pom, and both accessories are a hit with all ages.
This class is 3 x 2 hour classes.
Required Supplies:
- Yarn: either 2 skeins of Estelle Bulky, or 3 balls of Estelle Merino Big
- The headband uses about 80g of super bulky yarn
- The hat uses about 170g of super bulky yarn
- Size 6mm and 6.5mm, 16 inch fixed circular needles
- Size 6.5 mm double pointed needles
- Cable needle - I recommend the wooden ones with cut marks on them
- Scissors
- Darning needle and threader for large yarn
- Snap on Pom Pom - larger is better
- Row counter
