Join Margit D. in creating this charming stitched piece. It is displayed in a 6" wooden hoop. Don't worry if you are not an embroidery expert - this project is for all skill levels. Everything you need will be taught during the workshop.
We will take our time and enjoy stitching this piece. You'll be able to choose the colour of your hand-dyed background fabric. The 'sweater' itself is made from 100% felted wool fabric and embroidered by hand. When attaching the sweater to the background fabric it will be slightly stuffed to give it a very 3D appearance. Silver snowflakes are scattered around the top portion. The wire 'Hanger' will also be created by hand. The piece is currently displayed in the store if you would like a better look at the project.
All materials will be provided in the $15 kit, to be paid in cash to Margit upon the start of class, except for scissors. Please bring a small pair of scissors with you.
This class is 2 x 2 hour sessions.
Minimum 3 participants required for class to run. Maximum 6 participants.
