Class runs for 4 weeks on Mondays from 6:00 - 8:00
Oct 19, 26, Nov 2 and 9

Cost: $100

If you are interested in learning to knit a Knitted Animal by Louise Crowther, this class is for you!  Learn the required  stitches, how to read the patterns and sew together the pieces to make an animal.  Included, learning to knit the clothing.

Skill level:  Intermediate

Please know how to knit in the round  either on double pointed or magic loop.  The animals are knit flat while parts of the clothing in the round.

Materials needed: 

Must purchase a Louise Crowther pattern book.  Either Knitted Animal Friends book or  Knitted Wild Animal Friends book.  (Do not purchase the book with both of these two books combined as it does not have the clothing).  The choice of animal is up to you.  Please contact Jan (staff@artisanthropy.ca) to discuss as some are more difficult than others.

Needles:  2.75 mm for the animals  &  3mm and 3.5 mm for the clothing
Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn for the bodies
Scheepjes Catona yarn for the outfits
Stitch markers
Darning needle
Stitch holders
